Hand over the phone, not everything on it
Showing someone your trip photos should not mean showing them everything. A guest pattern opens a separate vault with only what you chose to put in it.
Pro The guest vault is part of Pro.
How it works
A guest vault (Pro) is a second pattern that opens a separate vault with only what you put there.
Set it up once: create a second vault, give it its own pattern, and move in the photos you are happy to show. When someone asks to see your photos, draw the guest pattern instead of your own.
Make it feel normal
Fill the guest vault with photos you are happy to show: trips, pets, food, screenshots. A guest vault that looks lived-in raises no questions.
Know the limits
What it does not do
- Face ID or fingerprint can open at most one vault. Your other vaults always need their pattern.
- A guest vault keeps a casual look away from your other photos. It is not meant to fool someone who knows the app well or is searching the phone for more.
Questions
Does Face ID open the guest vault or my main vault?
Face ID or fingerprint can open at most one vault. Your other vaults always need their pattern.
Is the guest vault free?
No. The guest vault is part of Pro. Free: 1 vault, up to 100 photos and 10 videos, encrypted backup file included. Pro: as many vaults as you want, including the guest vault, with no limit on photos and videos.
Can someone with the guest pattern wipe my other vaults?
The guest pattern cannot open or even show your other vaults. But anyone holding your unlocked phone can delete AlbumVault, by deleting the app or erasing the phone in its settings, and that removes every vault on it. Keep a backup file of each vault somewhere else.
