Convert to JPG
Changes apply to every file in the list.
How to use it
- Choose or drop one or more WebP images from your device.
- Pick JPEG quality and choose the fill colour for any transparent pixels.
- Download each standard JPG file immediately.
How transparent WebP areas become JPG
Standard JPEG has no transparency channel. Rather than turning clear areas black by surprise, this tool composites transparent pixels cleanly over white (or any colour you pick). If you need transparency kept, use WebP to PNG instead.
Private conversion with zero metadata carryover
Decoding the WebP onto a local canvas and writing a fresh baseline JPEG strips embedded XMP, EXIF and C2PA blocks while producing a file every app can open.
FAQ
Questions
Are my photos uploaded anywhere?
No. The page reads your file in this browser tab and does the work on your device. Nothing is sent to a server, and closing the tab clears it. You can switch on airplane mode after the page loads and the tool still works.
Why is the converted JPG slightly larger than the original WebP?
WebP uses newer block-prediction compression that packs detail into roughly 25% to 34% fewer bytes than JPEG at matching visual quality. Setting JPG quality around 85 keeps file sizes modest with clean detail.
What happens to animated WebP files?
JPEG is a still-image format, so converting an animated WebP saves its first frame as a static JPG.
Can I convert several WebP files to JPG at the same time?
Yes. Drop multiple WebP images together and save each converted JPG right in your browser tab.
